Mark daily attendance for students by class and date.

Track Student Attendance

Record daily attendance for each class to monitor student presence and punctuality.

Steps

1. Go to Student Attendance from the main menu.
2. Select the Class from the dropdown.
3. Select the Date (defaults to today).
4. The system displays all students in the selected class.
5. For each student, mark their status:
   • Present — student attended class
   • Absent — student did not attend
   • Late — student arrived after the expected time
6. Click Save to record the attendance.

Tips

• Take attendance at the start of each school day for accuracy.
• You can edit attendance for past dates if corrections are needed.
• Attendance records feed into the Analytics dashboard for tracking trends.
• Students marked as consistently absent can be flagged for follow-up with parents.
