Set Up Appointment Reminders

Reduce no-shows by enabling automated reminders that email patients 24 hours before their scheduled appointment.

Steps

  1. Go to Facility Settings from the main menu.
  2. Select the Notifications tab.
  3. Toggle Automated Appointment Reminders to enabled.
  4. Confirm the reminder timing is set to 24 hours before appointment.
  5. Click Save to apply.

How It Works

  • The system automatically sends an email reminder to the patient 24 hours before their appointment.
  • The email includes the appointment date, time, doctor name, and facility address.
  • Reminders are only sent to patients with a valid email address on file.

Tips

  • Ensure patient email addresses are up to date during registration.
  • You can disable reminders at any time by toggling the setting off.
