Configure Facility Settings

Set up your facility name, departments, operating hours, access control, and calendar settings in Cloud Sentrics Healthcare Management.

Set up your facility profile so the system reflects your organization's structure, schedule, and security policies.

Steps

  1. Go to Facility Settings from the main menu.
  2. Enter your Facility Name (e.g., "City General Hospital").
  3. Under Departments, click Add Department to create each department (e.g., Outpatient, Surgery, Pediatrics).
  4. Set Operating Hours by selecting the start and end times for each day of the week.
  5. Under Calendar Settings, choose your preferred calendar view (day, week, or month) and set the first day of the week.
  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

Access Control

Under 🔒 Access Control, you can enable:

  • Shift-Based Access Control — restricts staff login to their assigned shift hours and days
  • Branch-Based Access Control — restricts staff to viewing only patients in their assigned branch

Both toggles are off by default. When enabled, staff must have shift/branch details configured on their profile. Admins always bypass these restrictions.

Tips

  • You can add or remove departments at any time without affecting patient records.
  • Operating hours control when appointments can be booked.
  • Calendar settings apply to all staff viewing the shared calendar.
  • Access control toggles take effect immediately for all non-admin staff.
