Manage Pharmacy & Dispensing
Process prescriptions by dispensing medications to patients and keeping inventory records up to date.
Steps
- Go to Pharmacy from the main menu.
- View the list of Pending Prescriptions awaiting dispensing.
- Select a prescription to see medication details (name, dosage, frequency, duration).
- Click Dispense.
- Record the Quantity Dispensed for each medication.
- Confirm to complete the dispensing. Inventory is updated automatically.
Tips
- Dispensed prescriptions move from "Pending" to "Completed" status.
- If stock is insufficient, the system alerts you before dispensing.
- You can view dispensing history for any patient from their profile.
- Inventory levels decrease automatically when you dispense.
