Add medications with dosage, frequency, and duration during a consultation so the pharmacy can dispense them.

Manage Prescriptions

Prescribe medications during a patient consultation. The pharmacy team can then view and dispense them.

Steps

1. During a Consultation, scroll to the Prescriptions section.
2. Click Add Medication.
3. Enter the following for each medication:
   • Medication Name (e.g., "Amoxicillin 500mg")
   • Dosage (e.g., "1 tablet")
   • Frequency (e.g., "3 times daily")
   • Duration (e.g., "7 days")
4. Repeat for additional medications if needed.
5. Click Save to finalize the prescription.

How It Works

• Once saved, the prescription appears in the Pharmacy module as a pending order.
• Pharmacy staff can view the prescription details and dispense the medications.
• The prescription is stored in the patient's medical record.

Tips

• Double-check dosage and frequency before saving.
• You can edit a prescription before the pharmacy dispenses it.
